The article is devoted to the numerical simulation and experimental verification of a vehicle’s response kinematic excitation caused by driving along an asphalt road. source was road unevenness, which mapped geodetic methods. Vertical unevenness measured in 0.25 m increments two longitudinal profiles spaced meters apart with precise leveling realized digital levels. A space multi-body computational model Tatra 815 heavy truck adopted. had 15 degrees freedom. Nine freedom were tangible six intangible. equations motion derived form second-order ordinary differential solved numerically Runge–Kutta method. custom computer program MATLAB created for vehicle movement (eps = 2−52). allowed quantities such as deflections, speeds, accelerations at characteristic points vehicle, static or dynamic components contact forces arising between wheel (acceleration points) different speeds experimentally tested. experiment simulated results mutually compared. basic statistical characteristics obtained signals their power spectral densities
